3 out of 4 isn't bad?

4 motorcycle spark plugs were ordered, 3 seemed to tighten normally but 1 burst in the cylinder head when I started tightening. Spent the next day getting the stitches that broke on ours. And no, I didn't overtighten, actually a little.

Great price for spark plugs and cables

I was worried the spark plugs were fake as the price for a pack of 10 was incredibly low but the spark plugs are genuine NGK and my fears were unfounded. An important consideration is that the plugs DO NOT have a connector nut at the top, so you will need to purchase them separately (if possible) or use the nut of the plug that needs to be replaced.

Good reliable connectors

CR9EK/CR10EK are probably the standard connectors for most Japanese motorcycles (probably cars too). I've used about 3 sets of these plugs (including the 9EK that originally came with the bike) with a set of coils in the last 8 years before having any spark issues. On an engine with a 12.1:1 compression ratio, I could easily get 12,000 miles on these spark plugs. Over 12,000 miles may experience minor power issues at idle. All in all good spark plugs at a good price on AMAZON, especially forโ€ฆ

my hot weather plug.

So when I click on these earplugs a popup says they don't fit my bike. Fine. I can't always believe this popup. This fork is made for my katana for hot weather as stated in the manual. The Cr9 fork is my stock fork and also the cold weather Cr8 fork. So always check the manual for the correct part numbers. I live in Florida and in the summer the heat index is almost 100 degrees every day and it gets hot for an air-cooled bike, especially with heavy traffic. I had to resort to those plugs, 10w50

Perfect connector for my R6

These connectors actually match the OEM connectors for my R6 and other than that I wouldn't choose anything else. These are great forks even if your specific OEM fork is not available. They have excellent insulation within the plug itself and are made from the most conductive metal you can get in a similar spark plug for this configuration. I didn't want to get a colder fork so this was the best way to go in my opinion. I have used E3, Bosch etc and have always been amazed by the smooth running

Spark plugs for '05 R6. Best Ignition Parts

Californian R6s use CR9EK but they were recommended by the forums so I went with them. Replacing the R6 spark plug is no joke and can be time consuming due to that stupid plastic heat shield. . you know one Anyway, I had their gaps, but they still shouldn't have gaps. I applied a light coat of grease with anti-seize paste and screwed it in by hand and then 1/2 turn with a wrench. I didn't notice any difference in horsepower or throttle response since the bike has had CR10EKs before, althoughโ€ฆ

OEM for 2009 Yamaha R6S, big improvement. Replacement video later.

I have a 2009 Yamaha R6S and these are factory OEM connectors. The picture shown in the description is not accurate as CR10EK plugs have two grounding electrodes instead of the single grounding electrode shown in the picture. them by 0.026 inch. Three of the four plugs were within 0.001" of 0.026" and only one plug was slightly over the range so I have to say that these plugs are no different from the OEM specs from the factory but are very close. For comparison, the spark plugs I took off that
