The Carlisle ramekin is versatile in its use and durable in its construction. Through trial and error, I found that it functions well as a dipping bowl, a condiment holder, and even as a mini serving dish for desserts. The melamine material is sturdy and resists chips and scratches. The only downside is that it is not microwave safe. Overall a great addition to any kitchen for both home cooks and professionals..
