Review on Satellite Broadband CORROSION PHAT SATELLITE by Brandon Daughenbaugh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well built. Very well shielded.

100ft TRI-Shield 14AWG 75ohm RG11 in Orange bought. The cable marked "Amphenol TFC-T10 ShieldX" is widely used in telecommunications. The F-connectors are a rugged, weather-resistant design with 18 AWG connectors for easy installation. The cable itself is in a good #14 sheath, the braid is a dense transverse braid impregnated with anti-corrosion gel. Foil and insulator are standard, and the conductor is 14 AWG steel core generously clad in copper. The composition works great with CIMPLE RG11 F compression fittings for custom cable lengths. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XGPJ3HPM Minimum bend radius is listed as 1.5 inches, although out of the box/unpacking I would recommend a bend radius of no more than 5 inches as there is a minimum radius at the center of the roll. Tighter than 5 inches and the cable resists and risks losing screen integrity/going out of round. Overall pleased with the quality at this price point and found the increase in gains over longer runs to be worth the extra cost and hassle over the RG6. Nice job fat.

Pros
  • Big selection
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was
