I recently got a new glass hob. After getting used to gas I was thrilled that glass hobs are easy to clean as I think that's the only advantage over gas cooking. I was alarmed when I accidentally scratched the top of an old pot and didn't know what to do. I googled a bit and found this glass polish (originally used for automotive purposes). I didn't attach the cleaning pad to the drill because I was afraid I wouldn't apply enough pressure and crack the cooktop, so I just used elbow grease and followed the directions on the bottle. I just used oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much amount, rubbed in a circular motion for a few minutes and MIRACLE! The scratch (which I found quite deep and terribly unsightly) was GONE! My cooktop looked brand new and I'm pretty sure I have enough of this stuff left for 100+ cleanings. I was so thrilled that it was so quick and easy that I sent before and after photos to my mom and friends (well, maybe I'm an idiot). They were equally impressed and hired some to fix the scratches on the glass hob themselves. IT WORKS! I couldn't be happier with this purchase!
