Do not leave on furniture for long! I bought this to keep my cats from scratching the sofa and it lost its stickiness after a while because it's now covered in fur and isn't sticky anymore. I decided to remove it. After doing this it left a sticky stain on the couch. And the worst thing is that he's lying on my couch. I've spent so much time trying to wipe/clean/soak/clean/scrape to get the sticky residue off of this product. I only have 1 side of the sofa clean. all this effort and there are still 3 pages to go. I wish I knew he would leave so much behind or I would never have put him on my couch. I can't imagine what my carpet will look like in front of my door when I remove it. Now I'm afraid I need more money to fix this mess. It's better to let the cat scratch the carpet and sofa than deal with the mess this product will leave behind.
