My old pair of flip-flops were on their way out and I came across these. My first order was a bit too small although I ordered my shoe size--returned them no problem and purchased a larger pair.I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of these! The strap is soft but has a slight elastic quality for security. The sole has a mild texture which will help if your foot gets wet so the flip-flop won't slide off. The tread is aggressive enough for traction on a variety of surfaces.What really impressed me is the sole has gentle contours which almost act like a massaging action! Love these so far!
