Worked well. Attach the included cable tie to the hose and it will not come loose. It's slower, much slower, but worth the wait. The advantage is that you can clearly see the condition of the oil as it drains through the transparent tube. The only downside is that the thin o-ring is very loose, making it easy to fall off the fitting. Put a drop of lubricant on the o-ring and it will stay in place during installation. I drained the oil straight into a large oil jug I keep handy for storing old oil. The pallet is not needed and does not need to be cleaned. Much more beautiful. You can even drain the motor oil straight into an empty clear soda bottle if you really want to look at the oil and then pour it into your old oil storage container.
