The keys were useless, many hours wasted.
I saved a few euros and decided on this ignition. After trying to start the car all day, I finally called the locksmith who advised me to throw the keys that came with me in the trash. Of course we couldn't do that, he knew, because they were cut for kindling. However, they did not have a lockout chip that allowed them to work with our new ignition. two locksmiths later we are finally on our way. My advice after all this: have the ignition replaced at the dealer and take it to a local locksmith to have it programmed.
