Got Tavool Stud Finder with Prime and $2.99 extra same day I ordered. The product works very well on drywall or drywall. Turn on the search for metal and pick up nails or screws that hold drywall in place. Has four modes. Rod mode, deep scan mode, metal mode, current display mode. It shows well that there is electricity in the wall. I just can't say exactly where. I have plastered walls at home, the only thing I can find are nails or screw heads. FIND NO SUPPORTS IN PLASTER WALLS. My bathroom has plaster with a metal rod holding the plaster in place. The bathroom is the same, with ceramic tiles above. This device finds nothing but a continuous beep behind a metal bar. I recommend this tool for locating studs in drywall. Just don't buy it if you have plaster walls. Don't complain about the company if you buy this wall plastering tool. Runs on a 9 volt battery, not included.
