Overall I am disappointed with this purchase. I bought 2 and wish I had them. Yes it does fog up, but when the water is cold enough to sweat it shuts off and in Texas I don't want warm water to fog up on a muggy day. I used them on July 4th after having a very hot prom with 5 fans in June. With 2 of these I still had 4 fans running and it was cooler outside than in June. My brother and my dad are very hot people and they sat there with these things right next to them when they stayed there. They both said it helps as long as you sit within 2 inches of it. I did not use their meaning, because it is enough to organize a family reunion without caring about the fans.
