The first one I ordered didn't charge batteries above 12.6V (new and used 115Ah). Another 5 year old device I still have keeps charging it to 13.2v. Sent it back and the new device works exactly the same. I cannot rent batteries that are 75% charged. I have contacted Schumacher support and apparently there is nothing they can do other than tell me to send it back to where I bought it. It is a pity that the same product is of inferior quality and costs more. I'm sticking with the old one and my 30 cheap 8A chargers that actually work better.
