This is the best energy monitor I have ever bought. I bought TED and still have it installed, Sense does what it promises. I live in Jamaica and in the first month my electric bill went from J$76,500 to J$43,000. I do this by simply shutting down my electricity consumers when my solar array isn't producing enough excess electricity. I also set timers on my pumps to run from 9am to 3pm when I'm getting the most out of my installed solar system. I use a net billing system which means I sell my excess energy to the utility company but they pay 33% of what they charge you so you do all the hard work around the house with the electricity you produce have to. So why can I do this with Sense and haven't done it before - COMFORT. I'm just on my phone anywhere, anytime and I know what's going on in my house. I know which devices consume it with what power. I know the air conditioner is left on the dryer and used on a low sun day. I can pick up the phone and tell someone at home they screwed up. I immediately see various small power consumptions (400-500 watts) on my monitor. On the other hand, I live in Jamaica, which uses a 50Hz frequency, so I have to turn the touchmonitor on and off constantly (every 6 hours from when the switch was turned on). ) to get an approximate correct time. Proper timing will help you get an accurate history of your usage data. Fix this and its 5 stars
