Review on Tekonsha 118272 Harness Wiring Package by John Eaton

I don't know what the factory version looks like. But it connects and works with my 2013 Ford Explorer. However, after a while it seemed like he had a bad connection. The back, which fits into a real bumper socket, only has one latch, not two, so it doesn't feel tight. However, the end of the tee where it connects to the wiring harness didn't start connecting to the outlet when it started raining here. I cleaned it and sealed the T-connectors with sticky sealant for windshields and the like. And now it works fine. Except for the still weak connection at the end of the socket. I'll probably end up getting the other end of the socket using zip ties to hold the wires in place and I'll cover them with glue. Too bad there aren't two latches on the end plug! It would be absolutely and utterly amazing if that didn't exist.
