I needed to replace some of the Christmas lights around my front window but didn't want to try the big stores this year. Heat white light bulbs with screw-on plastic cases to give you different colors. They are also larger than I expected. The result is a range of modern, vintage-style lamps. They don't have a "blue" tint like today's LED lights, and they don't have a "pink" tint like incandescent bulbs from the 80's. Instead, they look like old lanterns from the 40's and 50's. This is great if you like this look or want to spice up your garden. But they don't match the lights you bought at the hardware store last year.
