Love the look of these modern coasters and so far they have been solid but very easily soiled. A drop of coffee falls on the ceramic and it is colored. I've tried washing it off, using a magic eraser, etc. and it doesn't wash off well. It also seems to keep water stains out, and the whole point of the trivet is to keep water off the counters. So I'm not sure if it's the color or the finish that needs to be more water and stain resistant. So I really love the look and feel of keeping my counters clean.
