Good auto filter function

Don't waste money paying your dealer to replace your cabin air filter. The Mazda dealership charged $100 to replace it in my CX 9. You can make it yourself for 1/10 of what the dealer wants. You need to open the glove box and remove the cover on the back. Pull out the second cover by pressing the tab on the left side. After that you will see the air filter. Pull it out and replace it with a new one. 1 star deducted because the airflow direction was not marked on this air filter. Air filters must be installed in the correct direction. If you look at your oven's air filter, you will see arrows showing which way the air should flow through the filter. I think I set it correctly using the form. Consider the flat side of the filter as below. The air filter can be removed from the shaft with a little effort. It doesn't just slide in. I had to slide it in and up. I just needed a little patience to install it. Then replace 2 caps. I've had a new filter for 3 weeks now and no problems. Feel better filtering the air in your car when everything is happening right now. Be safe everyone!
