So obviously I'm a bad car owner because I didn't even know such a thing existed. Google alerted me to this after my car started smelling musty. Wow! It was very easy to install with no tools and a youtube video. The one I removed was badly clogged. It fits perfectly. I put it on my calendar to change every year.

The filter seems to (damn) match the more expensive filter I used. Excellent quality, no gaps or weak points when held up to the light. Right size, perfect fit for my Lincoln MKX. I see no problems using this filter and will now switch to this brand for all my filter needs. (I always felt that brands were overpriced anyway).

Don't waste money paying your dealer to replace your cabin air filter. The Mazda dealership charged $100 to replace it in my CX 9. You can make it yourself for 1/10 of what the dealer wants. You need to open the glove box and remove the cover on the back. Pull out the second cover by pressing the tab on the left side. After that you will see the air filter.
