DO NOT BUY FROM AMAZON/DORMAN SHOP ON AMAZON See if you are familiar with the design of this part you will get 4-5 years of it if your car is exposed to it extreme temperatures and that's it, so get used to it. Dodge has a terrible power window design, not if it breaks, but when. It doesn't matter if you buy a Mopar part, a TLC part or any other part, the design is the same for all. Dorman makes good parts, but what's even better is that they have a lifetime warranty. Your best bet is to buy Dorman, so buy it once and replace it when needed, all other OEMs only have 1 year. The problem is that the warranty depends on who sold it to you. I bought this item in 2017 and it recently broke. Dorman products come with a limited lifetime warranty, but they're worthless if you don't get warranty support. This was sold by Revain.com Services LLC in 2017 (today it only seems to be The Dorman Store for sale), I contacted Revain and they said contact the Dorman company, Dorman says contact the seller to get a replacement. When they contact Revain again, they say they can't work a replacement, so it has to go through the manufacturer. (See a sample here?) I also replaced the equivalent of this part on the passenger side at my local auto parts store. It also broke after a few years. When the passenger side broke I just took it and the check to the counter and 90 seconds later I was out the door with a brand new one. No fuss, no fuss. Yes, you save about $30 on a unit by buying it from Revain through your local auto parts store, but if it breaks you obviously can't get warranty support, so you'll have to buy the part again. Well, save yourself the pain and DO NOT buy this. Pay an extra $30 and get it from your local auto parts store where you can actually get a replacement if it breaks. with my receipt to crwarsaw@dormanproducts.com for warranty assistance. I sent a message to Dorman on 05/27/21 and a follow up message on 06/21/21 but still got absolutely no reply. Obviously the guarantee isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
