I ordered a 1/2 wide piece of blue tape to mark the distance from the edge of the hood, then found the center of the Ford badge and used a ruler to lift it up and down the centre mark the blue ribbon. then measured at a few other points to be on the safe side. Then I found the center of the foam template and lined up the bottom with the blue tape and center to center. Then tape the foam template between each letter, making sure the bottom edge lines up with the blue tape. Then slowly place each letter in its place. Then slowly heat the letters with a hair dryer until they stick well. If you heat them too hot they will start releasing glue. Very easy to do, just take your time
