Great lens. Very fast autofocus and quite sharp throughout. The only thing to watch out for is compatibility with older Nikon DSLRs. But it's actually a nice upgrade to the 18-55 VR II lens that came with the D3300 (you'll need to update the D3300's firmware to make it work with this lens). And it's much better for focusing in movies. In fact, the only minor complaint is that you have to go into the menu to toggle image stabilization on or off. I wish they had kept it as a physical dial on the lens itself. But that's just a minor annoyance.
