After Labor Day weekend I was pleasantly surprised at the performance and value of this welder. The first thing you need to do is of course get the right welding helmet. I wouldn't trust my eyes to the ones that come with it, but it's nice that they give something. This is by no means a professional machine but for crafting and gluing things at home/on the farm I find it a great machine. It's very light and portable and I was able to run it off my Honda generator. The 240v plug is a good option which is included and gives you some flexibility. Leads are what you'd expect from a $100 device, but they do the trick. In general, I am satisfied with the device in this price range. I think we'll see more durability, but I don't weld much so I don't expect too many problems.
