Hopefully this is a permanent solution but once installed it is very difficult to activate!
Buy these to replace a broken rod on 2" blinds. It takes time to remove the blinds properly, open the end, move the shaft, remove and reinsert the stick. Metal components last longer, but the only downside is that unlike the original plastic stick, they are very difficult to turn.
