Ideal for small shelves

These brackets are ideal for shelves no more than 5-6 inches deep. I haven't used them more than 2 feet apart and they hold up great even when the shelf is full of books. The short screws are great for attaching the brackets to the soft wood of the shelves. On the advice of other reviewers, I bought a variety of wall screws (2" phosphate coated drywall screws. Worked great; very strong and they're black like staples). Quality drywall anchors included. Not needed for shelving, but I have them for other projects used and they work great (some people said they didn't have a ridge or edging around the edge but I did) and I'm buying more for more shelves!

Pros

EASY TO INSTALL. 1. Use a drill to dig a hole in the wall or board, and then install the screw mounts. 2. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screws on the brackets. There is an instruction manual in the package for you to refer to.
