This is very poor quality and probably even a fire hazard. This part is definitely NOT automotive quality. The first one I received lasted almost 4 months, the warranty replacement was dead on arrival. I will say the warranty was easy and hassle free but for a part I don't want on my truck. After examining it under a microscope, I see that the first one could not cause heating and corrosion of parts due to poor workmanship (first of all, no cleaning with a caustic flux). The MOSFET is damaged by its own heating and the other part is so badly corroded that it is almost impossible to identify, I could go into these issues. The fan motor main wire is soldered with solder paste and I'm surprised it worked at all, now there's clearly a cold connection. Moving on to the second one I got, it's ready to use. One of the surface mount resistors is pretty much broken and will never work. In general, the design is bad. I bought the redesigned AC Delco for only about $15 more and it's well worth it. There is a bit of wiring but I'm sure it will last longer than the original. Lesson learned. The car class is needed for a reason and at this point I don't know what I was thinking about saving money because it's a safety issue as the whole thing could catch fire if it lasts a little longer.
