Here are some specs about my computer's performance: RAM Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 DIMM 2666MHz PC4-21300 CL16 - 16Gb KIT (2x8Gb) - Motherboard GigaByte Z370P D3 - Video card GigaByte GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming 1830MHz PCI-E 3.0 8192Mb 14000Mhz 256 bit HDMI 3xDP - SSD 256Gb - Samsung 860 PRO MZ-76 In that case, this stone is cooler than the DeepCool Gammaxx GT. I feel compelled to emphasize its significance here. If you and your friends are experiencing difficulties with heat dissipation, try the following: First, you should verify the processor's operating frequencies. It can be tested with any sort of monitoring software; I used Speccy. The status of each core can be tracked by this software. You may probably see a picture like this in (2): The specifications state that the cores should operate at 3.7 GHz from the factory, but in practice they "smoke" at 4.3 GHz, and the frequencies never drop below this level, even under heavy load. That's how I experienced it, anyway. Third, proceed as follows in this scenario. In the BIOS we go. We simplify by referring to the year 2022. - We belong to the M. I. T.'s "Advanced frequency settings" subcategory. - We'll need to navigate to the "Advanced settings of the CPU core" menu item. - Then, you can adjust the "Intel(R) Turbo Boost Technology" option that appears. Put it in the "Off" position. Exit the BIOS by pressing the F10 key. - The CPU is now operating at its factory-default speed of 3.7 GHz, and the temperature has dropped dramatically (by 10 to 15 degrees). These measures, together with the ones I took earlier (detailed in the drawbacks), are what kept the temperature in Grand Theft Auto 5 from rising above 60 degrees, with an average of 55 degrees. Since I do not believe the CPU is solely to blame for the turbo boost incident, I bumped the final score up a point. The overheating issues have been resolved and performance is at an all-time high. I advise it, but before you do, double-check the BIOS settings.
