Review on 🏺 ACTIVA Fast Mache: Quick-drying 4lb Instant Papier Mache Solution by Tara Ford

I have never used a wrapped paper mache and am very impressed with this product. I've done several art projects with it and I highly recommend it for creating sculptural objects. The caveat is that it's hard to flatten. So if you want a really smooth finish (I actually like organic textures) you can use pre-made paper clay in small packs. However, you can make it super smooth by spraying water on a wet sculpture and smoothing it out with your fingers. Also (IMPORTANT!) divide the amount you want to use BEFORE adding the water. This will get rid of most of the clumps of paper and create a creamy consistency. Place paper and water in a plastic bag, seal, then mash and knead until well combined. This might take a while. On average 8-10 minutes to mix well. Have fun!
