Review on Cape Cod Polish 8828 Polishing by Mike Snedeker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product! best household cleaner

metal polish cape cod has become my favorite watch polish, those who love their watches and want to keep them shiny will ever want to look for a good polish to use at home. I really have to give credit to the company for making such a cool jar with very clear instructions on the lid. The polish is designed for silver, gold, brass, copper, nickel, tin, aluminum and stainless steel. Yes it can be used on coated metal for clocks and kitchen utensils, I do not vouch for craft knives or other cutting tools that have some sort of decorative coating on the handles. The instructions say you can easily polish coated metals, so I'm assuming this will work just as well as a light touch up. Nitrile glove. The cloths are soaked in mineral oil and polishing paste, the hand towels are nice and thick for repeated use. A Seiko watch that I wear every day for everyday tasks. The outer bezel was quite scratched and my kinetic watch had a deep pit so I pushed harder to polish the stainless steel to remove the scratches. For those who have never used it, I have polished cloth, I definitely recommend this. There are a few things that will help you detail your jewelry: Q-Tips - cut the cotton head of the Q-Tips in one sharp angles, this will give you a – scratch tip to work around the crown, case back and between the lugs. Additional Microfiber Clothing - If the buffing and buffing cloth turns grey, use a new surface for best results. I have included some photos to show you the results of the polish, some of the scratches are actually microfiber fibers but as you can see the light my fingers are reflecting off the mirror like a finish. I tried taking a few angles to show the sparkle and the polish really shines!
