I no longer had to guess the length for each face and tie accordingly. They slide through the two ends of the elastic after being threaded through the tab on the side of the mask. I used the needle threader by first adjusting the mount and then inserting the two ends of a thin rubber band into the needle threader. I gently pulled until I saw the elastic and pulled with my fingers to help the needle threader. I didn't want to break the flimsy needle threader wire. I wish I had had them earlier to make masks. I have shared some old masks to use the switch and elastic as they make them more comfortable.
