UPDATE BELOW See SECOND UPDATE Below We bought a Breville toaster which we absolutely love. We use durable aluminum foil all the time for cooking. Based on the reviews here, we opted for the box. Although the sheet fits Breville perfectly, we find it too thin. Those who say its thickness is between ordinary and heavy-duty film may be technically correct, but if it's thicker than ordinary, it's only slightly. We've just started wrapping - so maybe that's about to change - but we've already gone through a few sheets and it seems like the creases aren't going away - and the creases make the sheets look weaker. We often place food directly on the foil, roll up the edges to catch the juice or melted cheese, and place in the Breville. To do this we must be able to remove the foil from the cutting board counter and place it on the Breville wreck. We are very worried that the sheet will tear. These aren't heavy foods - quesidillas, potato latkes, 5-6 ounces of fish or meat. I accidentally bought a regular aluminum foil box a while ago and we were able to use anything but we were very careful when carrying or placing items on or in the Breville oven. We got through it without incident, but were glad when the roll ran out and we could go back to heavy foil. Now we are very unhappy with these aluminum sheets and wish they were thicker and smoother. I can send the box back, but I'm not sure yet. I've already thrown away the box it was in. However, these sheets cover the bottom of the Breville indentation to catch drips and prevent dripping juices from blackening the tray. But since we use foil right under everything we cook (except toast and the like), we don't need sheets for this purpose. Plus, crumpled sheets just look ugly. I know it has nothing to do with functionality, but they look like they've been pulled out of the trash and ironed out. We find cooking aesthetically pleasing, and those crumpled foils rob it of that. UPDATE - so after delving deeper into the packet (about 30 sheets) the sheets that came out didn't have the horrible creases. It's still nearly impossible to pick out one sheet at a time - there's always 3 or 4 sticking out, which were pulled out after picking - and if you pick up one of those, even more will be pulled out. However, these sheets are very handy. . We use Breville cooking foil to avoid adding more dishes to wash. I know it's not sustainable, but it's a trade-off between the time and energy this house lacks. These sheets are so easy to use, quick and effective that I love them. Therefore, the number of stars has been increased from 3 to 4. The blades break very easily, so we often have to clean the Breville after use. But Breville is well designed - they somehow made some sort of coating that makes cleaning easier. A great combination is the Breville Compact Toaster Grill Oven and these trays. in the box - and it works exactly as you would expect. Now we're used to thinner sheets - they never crack - they're thick enough to be tough, but no thicker. Much more environmentally friendly, which is great for us. We use them *all the time* the time we cook in our Breville *all the time*. The sheets come out quite easily now and no longer stick together - we must have received a package that was poorly wrapped at the top - if you look at the history of what I wrote first. Definitely recommend this item. We use it every day - I haven't used my regular heavy duty aluminum foil roll in months. This box will last us at least 6 months. The same cannot be said for aluminum foil at the same price, which we used.
