Review on 🔧 Bilstein 24-067379 B8 5100 Shock Absorber: Unparalleled Performance and Durability by Instructor Niederhaus

These shocks get 10 out of 5 stars. I have a 1990 K2500 pickup with a 6 inch Rough Country lift. The bumps that came with the elevator were TERRIBLE. The stock 30-year-old shocks rode better. This made the truck unwieldy, after all the work I did to rebuild the suspension and install the lift kit I couldn't drive it because the RC shocks were so hard. These shock absorbers made my truck fun to drive again. The truck is very durable and handy, but at the same time comfortable. Haven't tested them off-road yet, but the roads in my town are probably worse than most trails! The build quality is miles ahead of the rough country. It can't be seen in most photos, but the Bilstein has a very attractive brushed metal finish. RC shock absorbers are like soda cans in comparison. God, RC doesn't even have boots! The only thing that bothers me is that one of the boots was kinked when unpacked, but it could have happened anywhere so I don't blame anyone. After enough time, it will smooth out on its own.
