Note that this is clearly a PRINTER cable. The USB controller appears to the operating system as a printing device, not a universal serial device. Therefore this cable will not work for whatever devices you want to connect with DB25 cables. Instead, you'll need something like this: Sabrent USB 2.0 to Serial (9-pin) DB-9 RS-232 Converter Cable (CB-DB9P), and finally a DB9/DB25 adapter like this one: StarTech. com DB9 to DB25 Serial Cable Adapter - F/M (AT925FM). This cable is ideal for printers. But it won't work for anything else. Keep that in mind and you'll be fine.
