I used to carry a cheap $10 case for my 12 inch Macbook that fell apart very quickly with regular wear and tear. , so this one. I'm writing this review a year later and the case has lived up to my expectations. The dots are handy and provide a better grip when carrying your MacBook around the house as if you were carrying an iPad.
