The price will go down and there will be a source of less plastic waste in the world. This product is as good, if not better than a plastic zip-lock bag. Does not leak, also seals wet food and keeps it fresh. I'm not sure how long you can leave wet food in a bag before it starts to decompose. I have had no problems with food storage days. I'll look for a snack version. The only issue I had was the long term storage: would the bag break if it got wet and the fact that it's green and you can't see it. These reasons are not enough to return to plastic surgery.
