I've been looking for a good prime telephoto lens but can't spend the big bucks on new lenses at the moment. When I saw this lens between 1980 and 1988 I decided to try it. Being an old film lens, it will convert on a modern DSLR like my Kr. It has a built in lens hood that pops out of the body if you want it. I am totally in love! Just one question. The lens is old enough that the camera couldn't take some readings from it. The camera will prompt you to set the focal length when it turns on with this lens. It doesn't matter much. You have to do a bit of work manually setting the aperture and focusing. But if you don't know how, stick with a camera phone. At this price, your saving is at least $500.
