I've been using the filter for a week, no problems. An easy DIY craft that takes no more than 10 minutes to make. The CX 9's air filter is located on the right side of the vehicle when facing it. You can tell it's an air filter because it has a tube shape on one side. To open it, all you have to do is loosen the two clips on the left and lift the lid. Replace the old air filter with a new one and insert the two tabs into the slots on the right. I had to press down on the lid a bit to insert the tabs. Reseat the clips flush into the cover. Don't waste money getting it done at the dealer.
