This product had the potential to be perfect. Unfortunately, aside from a few design flaws with the lid and the lid you remove to insert the batteries, after reading all of these rave reviews it seems like mine might just be defective. The batteries are really poorly made and often you can't turn them on or off again. It would have been a lot better if they made it something that stuck. The button is what I complain about the most. Due to the silly design of the battery cover (which also has a rubber bottom to turn the press on and off), the rubber often doesn't match the button on the inside that needs to be pressed when the rubber button is pressed. It's almost easier to take off the cap and hit the ground without a rubber. You have to have it to understand what I'm talking about. I know it sounds complicated, but it really isn't. It's a very basic bare bones mixer, that's good, I knew twenty bucks wasn't going to be trendy. They basically took a very simple product and complicated it with a button layout and battery cover. try to get lumps out of a bottle or two of formula. This only really works for those cooking large batches at once. It's ok, but sometimes I just wanted to use it to mix up one bottle at a time just because the type of formula my daughter was prescribed doesn't mix easily with shaking the clumps, so I just wanted to use it to mix them up while we do business. Unfortunately, the whisk portion isn't long enough to mix, say, 8 ounces at a time. In fact, it doesn't fall completely into the liquid, or it just falls on the surface of the liquid. So if you don't collect batches for several days, it's useless. The whisk could also beat a little faster as it doesn't mix as thoroughly as I expected. More expensive ones are much more functional.
