I had a problem with a leaking toilet in my motorhome. I had a few issues with a water valve leak and after several repairs using Thetford valve repair kits and continued frustration we decided to replace the toilet. I called Thetford Customer Service and in a conversation with a representative who explained the problem and my decision to replace the toilet, she mentioned that I could only replace the base. I didn't know it was an option. It was a lot cheaper, and having disassembled the toilet a few times to replace valves or seals, I knew what was going on. I chose to go this route and it allowed me to basically replace all working (and problematic) parts and keep the porcelain basin, which was fine. The product was delivered within two days with free shipping thanks to AZ Prime. Installation was easy and only took about an hour (including wiping the floor when removing the toilet was much easier) and once the installation was complete everything worked as expected. Works like new, 1 year manufacturer warranty. Thetford and Revain have two happy camper buyers!
