Check your motherboard and GPU and your PSU calculator to determine exactly how much you need so you don't buy the wrong PSU. I had a 400 watt power supply, that wasn't enough. It's definitely worth spending a few bucks more for a fully modular 80+ Gold power supply. I don't play serious games (neither mine), so that was more than enough. It's been quiet so far, so I can't ask for more from the PSU. Maybe someday when I upgrade seriously I need to get something top notch but for now it's perfect.
