Although the product removes CO2 from the air and raises the pH in the aquarium, it doesn't last long. As others have noted, depending on your setup, you'll need to switch media every 2 weeks (more or less a week). In this scenario, a 3-liter bucket is sufficient for a short time. In addition, the cost of this product has more than doubled. At $72 plus tax per bucket, you're spending over $400 a year on that medium alone. Absolutely not worth the price. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and use an alternative method.
