I needed the dampeners badly because I was going to a tournament but forgot to put the dampener on my freshly strung racquet. They're nice and solid, have some nice messages on them (funny) and I was able to get them through AMAZON in a couple of days. I trained without a damper and after years of playing with a damper it wasn't fun. I am grateful that I received them in a timely manner and they are as advertised. And there's a handy pouch for extra shock absorbers so you can easily find them in your tennis bag.
