Review on Hypoallergenic And Gentle: 2" Conkote Soft Paper Surgical Tape 6-Pack For 10 Yards Each by Oscar Thompson

NOT hypoallergenic .

I've been allergic to most adhesives used in bandages and tapes for most of my life, and my medical records contain a warning about it. Depending on how long the tape is in contact with my skin, I can develop an itchy rash, followed by blisters that generally break when the tape is removed. NOT fun! Over the years, I've found that most paper tapes that advertise "hypoallergenic" seem to work well. Not this one Maybe they thought that lack of latex would render the tape "hypoallergenic," but that's not the case for a lot of us with adhesive allergies. I'm not allergic to latex, but I'm definitely allergic to some adhesives, including the one used here.PROS:you get a lot of tape for the moneyadhesion is sub-par but does work if you use enough of itwidth (2") is goodCONS:itches like crazy!I can only use it for 2 hrs at a time; otherwise, I get blisters. If you have sensitive skin or a known allergy to adhesives, you'd best steer clear of this product. It isn't hypoallergenic no matter what the product description says.Ended up ordering my usual "name brand" paper tape as I KNOW it works without causing my allergy to kick in. Lesson learned.

Pros
  • Stay on light weight
Cons
  • Not durable enough
