Review on 🍷 Godinger Bedside Night Carafe - Convenient Cup and Bottle Combo for a Refreshing Midnight Beverage by Sean Tops

I bought this two months ago and I still love this carafe (attractive, perfect size, easy to use, perfect lid/cup size) to this morning. I woke up, sat up in bed and heard an alarming "pop!" sound. I looked at my bedside table and wondered what could be causing this noise, I checked my lamp and it was fine. I lifted the carafe to check and the whole carafe broke into three large pieces. Apparently it just broke while idling, and then when I moved it, it fell into three pieces. Can someone explain? Not that there was a significant change in room temperature. Maybe 68 to 69 degrees Fahrenheit. It wasn't by the lamp. I could understand what would happen if I poured cold water straight from the hot dishwasher into the carafe, but it sat on my bedside table for two months without a problem. I should contact the seller or manufacturer about this as it can be quite dangerous.
