I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

In general, the console from Sony turned out great.
Many write that they heat up and make noise . Apparently they had a prefix already with a marriage. Didn't notice it on mine.
On sales I bought digital versions of some games for 360-600. I took a couple of used discs to A * o.
In general, games, incl. and exclusive, there are enough on PS4, it would be time to play.

Pros

Small, quiet, fast. Heats up moderately. Large hard disk space. controller generations is simply the height of engineering! Convenient functional, with the ability to connect headphones to them. And also with a touchpad (not used in many games). You can connect the rear petals. After them, I don’t even want to take the PS3 joysticks in my hands. My bundle already came with two games - Horizon Zero Down and God of war.

Cons

The first is a subscription. To play online, you need a subscription. And this is more than 3500 a year. If you pay monthly, it will be even more expensive. The second is the cost of games. Of course, when I bought PS4, I understood that games are expensive. But buying games for 3-5 thousand is too much . Therefore, you either have to follow the discounts in the PS Store (there are specialized sites and applications for this), or buy used discs through a well-known site. Thirdly, the battery in the gamepad is too weak. It takes only 5 hours to work. Fourth - no backwards compatibility with PS3 Fifth, many exclusives are floating away on PC. I don't really care, but a lot of people do.
