Quality fairing itself. All holes lined up perfectly with existing holes. However, the instructions that come with it are very confusing. The shroud fits a number of different air conditioner models and the first step in the instructions is to install a shroud extender for units with a low profile sump. However, they offer no way to identify your existing pan as high-end or unremarkable. I've tried searching the internet and couldn't find how to tell if my profile is high or low. I finally picked up the new headliner and found I had a top-notch shell based on the fact that the fairing fitted without adding an extension. I really shouldn't have done that. The instructions apply to closed panels. There was nothing in my unit that I could identify as a cover plate. In the next step, the self-adhesive foam was glued to the closure plates. I decided to attach the foam to the coil end plates. The instructions say to install two "supplied #10-16 x 1.41" button head flange screws through the holes in the fairing and into the condenser brackets. My unit did not have the hardware to install these screws and no such screws were used on my original case. After reading the instructions a third time, I realized that my original shroud (which had broken into unrecognizable pieces) may have been a "closed shroud" that did not use truss-head shoulder screws. This also explains why there were no cover plates on my block. I spent more time following the instructions than the actual installation, which was pretty obvious just looking at the shroud and the device itself.
