Great pad of watercolor paper! I have read or heard several recommendations for Fabriano Artistico watercolor paper. I wanted to try it both hot and cold. Watercolor blocks can be expensive, so I figured smaller blocks would be a good test size. This hot pressed paper is amazing. I'm not an expert in watercolor painting, but I'm learning how to use different paints and papers. I usually use cheap paper to try out techniques and do initial sketches. I've come to the conclusion that once you've mastered a few basics of watercolor painting, you should use the highest quality paints and papers you can afford. This is one of my best paper choices. The paint goes on smoothly with all the wonderful effects of watercolor painting. I can definitely recommend the block!
