Review on 🚴 sponeed Men's Cycling Shorts: Padded Bicycle Riding Pants for Ultimate Comfort and Performance by Jeff Westra

Regular cyclist for 30+ years: Worst cycling shorts, plus lots of sores, DO NOT BUY

I bought these cycling shorts for a road bike. I decided it was time to work on another new pair (I like to have three or four pairs available - long trips, short trips, multi-sport events). Only after the third or fourth use did I put them on for a short trip. and then run for a bit. On the run, I felt a little uncomfortable, since I was at the maximum distance from home (buttock irritation). When I got home and took off my shorts, I found several open wounds. Extremely painful as the skin was completely exposed, reddened and inflamed. It hurts to take a shower. After a large dose of bacitracin, the pain was gone, but the skin is still rough and light pink after 24 hours. It's impossible to drive. This is an amazing lesson for me that I didn't learn before: you get what you pay for! Under my cycling shorts I'm still wearing Descente shorts, which must be 15-20 years old (no kidding). Plus a pair of Pearl Iz shorts, which have always been great. If I'm not wrong these Sponeed shorts come from China and apart from being cheap they bring NOTHING but misery. I would happily pay full retail price for any Pearl Izumi or Descente cycling shorts and I will pay today or tomorrow. Don't be fooled by the low price of the Sponeed cycling shorts. It's indescribably awful.
