Finally a break in the rain in Seattle to try out my Kamalaps 4 a few days ago. Worked fantastic. I have an iPhone 6s and use an adapter to mount the iPhone onto the Camalaps and then mount the Camalaps on a tripod (which gives more flexibility to capture the desired height, angle, tilt, etc.). I like how I can set the Kamalaps at 90 degrees for 15 minutes, or 180 degrees for 30 minutes, or anywhere in between. A 360 degree sweep (1 hour) would be great on top of a building or mountain. I look forward to experimenting when the weather permits. I've heard you can buy a second one to layer it on top of each other and pan twice as fast, but I don't see the need for that if you have an editing program where you can adjust the video's speed in the post. All in all a great product, easy to use, portable, lightweight and compact. Meets all my needs.
