The LAUNCH CReader 909 has many features that my cheaper INNOVA scanner doesn't have. My old scanner just couldn't identify the problem with my Ford Explorer starting at idle. The boot scanner was able to identify the problem as a stuck EGR value. He even told me the valve was stuck open, which correlated with the lean condition I suspected. The scanner is fairly easy to use, with new firmware, core application updates, and vehicle-specific scanner software updates. I didn't have a chance to use some of the advanced features of the tool. I am very happy with my purchase. The seller delivered me the tool perfectly within the agreed time (it even arrived a day earlier).
