Do not buy other brands
I have changed the hood and latch 3 times since last October. The non-standard marks didn't last long, but once I was sure everything was ok, they started leaking. In the end I broke down and bought a genuine Febco part. Installation took five minutes, literally five minutes. It glided like silk. If I had bought the genuine part from the start I would have saved more than a few dollars more than this part is worth. Please learn from my mistake, save your time, money and water and switch to Febco.
