Review on Big & Tall Men's Basic Active Fleece Jogger Pants by Southpole by Jonathan Bennett

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I bought them to cast my foot and lower leg.

Fur, you get what you pay for, these things are alright. I recently broke my leg, and since I can't put proper pants over a cast, I needed several pairs of cheap, comfortable pants. They were it. Ironically, they didn't fit my cast, but I was able to cut the strip at the bottom to make them work, and then slip my foot into the cast. Problem? Well, the fabric is really bulky. I mean very bulky. LIke adds an extra 12-20 pounds because it's so bulky and stiff. When you wear them, they swell around you with their weight. Oh, and I generally like the pockets in my pants, but they have pockets made out of the same thick material so it almost looks like you're wearing a diaper or god knows what's in the front pockets. The fleece is soft against the skin and I would like to say that they are comfortable and they would be if I were also aware that wearing them makes me look a bit like a zeppelin. I was hoping that after washing they would soften and stop puffing up, but no, after 6 washes they still fit the same as they did when new. If you feel like you are underweight and want to appear fatter, this is for you. If you need something cheap and don't care if it fits you or not, then this is for you. But if you really don't want to look like a Michelin man/woman or a Pillsbury boy/girl, try another brand.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Something different
